Digital Tap has been producing promotional materials, logos, web sites, transportation graphics, and a wide range of visualization services since 2008. Below are just a few milestones and notable projects that helped to define what services we now offer to the greater Tampa Bay area.

2008

Digital Tap Open for Business

Digital Tap opens a studio providing graphic design and previsualization services in Wesley Chapel, Florida.

2009

Zap Squad and the Sands of Time Released

Digital Tap's team of 3D animators wraps production on Zap Squad And The Sands of Time - a family-friendly, multi-ethnic, character-based, 3D animated cartoon series about a secret club of super kids who protect the world from evil. Created and directed by our founder, Martin Grebing, the project was a labor of love for the team.

Zap Squad Featured at MOSI

Digital Tap’s Zap Squad And The Sands of Time featured at the Museum of Science and Industry’s animation exhibit in Tampa.

2009-2010

Film Festival Accolades

Digital Tap’s Zap Squad And The Sands of Time wins first place at various film festivals including: Black Swamp International Film Festival, Kids First! Film Festival, Iris International Film Festival, Accolade Global Film Competition, Yosemite Film Festival, Canada Film Festival and the Honolulu International Film Festival.

2010

Letter of Commendation from the Mayor of Dalton

The Mayor of Dalton, Georgia, honored Digital Tap with a letter of commendation for the presentation we created for Dalton’s Walkable Downtown and Green Hat Project.

2011

Perfect Vision Web Design Award

Digital Tap wins the Perfect Vision Award for the Zap Squad cartoon's website.

2012

FDOT District Seven Studies

Digital Tap works with FDOT D7 to developed the fdotd7studies.com website, which provides the public with information on the PD&E process, 20+ active PD&E studies, and also gives access to archived documents via an interactive map for more than 90 past PD&E studies completed in District Seven.

2013

Mount Rachel Trailhead Signs

The Dalton Daily Citizen featured one of our Georgia projects, the Mount Rachel Trail. Digital Tap designed informational signs for each of the two trailhead entrances.

2015

Center Ice Previsualization

Digital Tap works with local client Center Ice to produce a series of conceptual renderings for their state-of-the-art ice hockey and multi-sports complex.

2017-Present

ICAM International Conference and Annual Meeting Branding

Digital Tap is awarded an annual contract to develop conference branding, marketing materials, and large format displays for the largest global gathering of business school leaders, AACSB's International Conference and Annual Meeting (ICAM).

2018

Diverging Diamond Interchange Website

Digital Tap worked with Advanced Transportation Solutions (ATS) to design and manage the Diverging Diamond Interchange website, created to provide information on the DDI interchange for the public and transportation professionals. The
website includes an interactive map detailing the location and status of DDI intersection projects throughout the world.

2019

Downtown Tampa Interchange Interactive Map

Digital Tap works with the Florida Department of Transportation District 7 to develop a browser-based interactive map to display over 300 photo simulation images, which were also created by our studio. The map and user interface was displayed on twin freestanding 65-inch touchscreens in order to allow for the public to zoom in on areas of interest and view conceptual images of the multiple design options in consideration.

2020

Cedar Point Environmental Center

Digital Tap worked with the Cedar Point Environmental Center to design assets for and develop a series of fun learning games and applications to be displayed on touchscreen tablets for visitor's use.

2020

Interactive VR Previsualization

Digital Tap, in collaboration with American Consulting, produces their first interactive VR previsualization concept to assist their client with public outreach activities for a $76M high level fixed bridge project.
